Thomas M. Crino concentrates his practice in personal injury defense litigation, commercial litigation, property damage recovery litigation, and contract litigation.
Since 1996, Mr. Crino has vigorously represented Fortune 50 companies, corporations, insurance companies and individual members of the public in personal injury claims, contract disputes, property damage claims, disputes involving the sale of goods and services, business disputes and life insurance claims. He has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including trials and appeals, and has conducted hundreds of depositions, been involved in thousands of settlement negotiations, and has obtained summary judgment in a multitude of cases, thereby saving the client significant litigation expenses. He prides himself on his ability to effectively represent his clients in a proactive, efficient and cost-effective manner while keeping his clients fully informed on all aspects of their case.
As an Equity Partner, he is responsible for managing and supervising hundreds of litigated cases and property damage claims for the firm’s clients, and his legal advice is sought after by in-house counsel, managers and directors at large corporations.
Mr. Crino serves as a volunteer Mediator for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Somerset County, Special Civil Part, and has been appointed by the Court as an attorney for the mentally disabled.
He is the author of “Juggling the First Amendment: New Jersey’s Struggle with Regulating Hate Crimes,” Seton Hall Legis.J., Vol. 20:2 (May 1996).
Mr. Crino served on the South Plainfield Zoning Board and the South Plainfield Environmental Commission. He is also an active member of the Somerset County Business Partnership.
He holds a B. A. from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Law Journal. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Crino’s professional associations include the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Somerset County Bar Association.
