HOSTS PUBLIC POLICY FORUM

October 25, 2007, Warren, NJ -- Mayor Angelo Corradino of Manville, New Jersey, President of the New Jersey Conference of Mayors (NJCM), addressed invited municipal officials at a breakfast hosted by Ventantonio & Wildenhain PC. The breakfast is one of a series of public policy forums sponsored by the firm throughout the year.

Mayor Corradino outlined his agenda for his term as NJCM President and spoke about the association’s priorities. He and the municipal officials discussed issues and concerns of importance to the municipalities in Somerset, Union, and Middlesex Counties.

“We’re glad we could create this opportunity for dialogue among municipal officials,” said James Ventantonio of Ventantonio & Wildenhain PC. “We received many reports back that they found the forum useful, and we plan to host more events like this in the future.”

ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS

January 8, 2007, Warren, NJ -- The law firm of Ventantonio& Wildenhain PC
announces that James B. Ventantonio has been named Municipal Prosecutor for South Bound Brook, New Jersey and Manville, New Jersey, and the law firm of Ventantonio & Wildenhain PC has been named Special Redevelopment Counsel for Manville. Additionally, Thomas M. Crino has been appointed to the Environmental Commission in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

Ventantonio, a senior partner at Ventantonio & Wildenhain, was sworn in as Municipal Prosecutor in South Bound Brook on January 1, 2007, and in Manville on January 6, 2007. Both appointments are for a one-year term.

Ventantonio, who directs the firm’s Public Entity and Government Law Department, concentrates his practice in public entity, government law, and corporate defense litigation. He is Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Raritan Valley Community College and serves on the Seton Hall Law School Board of Visitors.

Crino was appointed to a 3-year term on the South Plainfield Environmental Commission by Mayor Charles Butrico. The Commission is responsible for advising municipal officials on environmental concerns within the Borough.

Crino, who is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, concentrates his practice in personal injury defense litigation, property damage recovery litigation, and contract law. A graduate of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, he received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Crino was named an equity partner in Ventantonio & Wildenhain PC earlier this year.

January 3, 2007, Warren, NJ -- The law firm of Ventantonio& Wildenhain PC
announces that James B. Ventantonio has been elected Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Raritan Valley Community College. Additionally, Elia A. Pelios has been elected President of the New Jersey Association of County Tax Boards, and David L. Minchello has been named to the Tri-County Red Cross Board of Directors.

Ventantonio, a senior partner at Ventantonio & Wildenhain, was elected to a one-year term as Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Raritan Valley Community College at the Board’s annual reorganization meeting in December 2006. He was appointed to the Board by Gov. Richard Codey in March of 2006. Ventantonio directs the firm’s Public Entity and Government Law Department, and concentrates his practice in public entity, government law, and corporate defense litigation.

Pelios, who is a member of the firm’s Public Entity and Government Law Department, was elected to a one-year term as President at the Board’s annual reorganization meeting in December 2006. He was appointed to the Somerset County Board of Taxation by Governor Donald T. DiFrancesco in 2001, and currently serves as President of the Board. His areas of specialization include election law, redevelopment law, tax appeals, and the representation of municipalities and authorities.

Minchello is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and the Public Entity and Government Law Department. He was elected to a three-year term on the Tri-County Board of Directors in October 2006. His practice areas include civil defense litigation, criminal litigation, municipal and governmental entity, education, employment, and condominium law.
